The Brewery District

Old World charm in a new way

The Brewery District is a multi-building development in Downtown Edmonton, catering to a busy urban lifestyle.

To support the longevity and budget of the project, Scorpio Stone proposed using natural limestone for the architectural accent feature over the original selection of precast accents, sills and caps. Because these features were much thicker than traditional stone panels, extensive engineering was required to ensure they were installed in an aesthetically pleasing way. With the use of our overnight Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) technology, we were able to manufacture quality stone locally in an enclosed, safe environment.

Our comprehensive installation, anchorage, shop drawing and engineering services significantly reduced costs while fast-tracking timelines.
